A new content update is coming to Wurm Online this Thursday, September 18th ~14:00 CEST.

Prepare your ships! Reports are coming in of new places for sailors to drop anchor, but beware — some say the wilderness is becoming overrun with foul encampments.

We expect the downtime to be brief, lasting around one hour. However, if any critical issues arise, we may need to bring the servers down again throughout the day for any immediate fixes.

• Bugfix: Poison damage wounds will now glance as they should.

We apologise for the confusion regarding the recent announced bugfix. The change to glance rates for poison damage will not be implemented with this patch. This was an intended change, not a bugfix, designed to allow poison damage to glance against creatures at a reduced rate; however, we believe this tweak requires further review to better understand its impact on game balance.

Our team will continue to work on this feature and will release a more detailed and explanatory patch note once it’s ready to go live. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

• Bugfix: It is no longer possible to unbrand a creature belonging to a village other than your own.
• Bugfix: Players with permission to access branded animal corpses and their contents are now able to access them regardless of their permissions in the village where the corpse is located.
• Bugfix: Hell horses that become unhitched from hidden vehicles due to age will now become visible again.
